Law Day Art Contest 2013

This year’s theme is “American Tradition.”

The Law Day Art Contest is open to high school students in the Beaumont area.

In 1958, President Dwight D. Eisenhower designated May 1st as Law Day, which is meant to celebrate and strengthen the American heritage of liberty, justice, and equality under the law. The contest is intended to help students and the public understand how the law protects our American freedoms. Judges, court personnel, attorneys, and other dignitaries will honor the prize winners, their parents, and teachers at a ceremony to be held at the U.S. Courthouse in Beaumont on Friday, April 18, 2013. All winning and honorable mention entries will be framed and displayed for twelve months at the Courthouse.
