Position Overview: Judge Crone is now accepting applications for Summer 2023 legal interns in the Eastern District of Texas, Beaumont Division. Interns assist Judge Crone in researching and drafting memoranda and orders involving a variety of criminal and civil matters, including civil rights, business litigation, personal injury, employment, admiralty and maritime, and bankruptcy appeals. Additionally, interns attend trials and hearings held before the judge, as well as other proceedings in the Beaumont Courthouse.

This is an in-person internship and requires at least a 6-week commitment. The internship is unpaid, but students may use their internship experience to earn course credit through their law schools.

Students with strong analytical, research, and writing skills are encouraged to apply. Students ranked in the top one-third of their class are preferred.
